The long waited untethered iOS 5 jailbreak has finally came. Here is a tutorial on how to jailbreak iOS 5 UNTETHERED!! This untethered jailbreak works for all devices except for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. If you are already tethered jailbroken on iOS 5.0.1 follow these steps on how to jailbreak untethered.1. Open Cydia
2. Search for the package "Corona"
3. Install Package
4. Your iOS 5 device is now untethered
If you have not jailbroke your device yet, follow this tutorial. Make sure your device is on iOS 5.0.1
1. Download Redsnow here for Windows and here for Mac.
2. Open Redsnow
3. Connect your device to your computer and turn it off.
4. Click Jailbreak
5. Now it will get you into DFU Mode. Follow the directions. If you don't get it on the first try, try again
6. Redsnow will now jailbreak your device.
